    The minimum order amount is $500.

    How much does Sealift shipping cost?

    The shipping is calculated automatically at check out. There is a $200 flat rate fee for the first 3000 kgs of product purchased, for packaging and crating for sealift, and a 5% fee for anything that goes above 3000 kgs. With that, there is a $0.60 per kg fee that is calculated based on the product weights. For example, a 3500 kg order's shipping calculation would be (($200+(500*0.05)+(3500*0.60))= $1725. 

    What are the cut off dates?

    First sealift cut off date: July 11 
    Second sealift cut off date: August 11 

    When do my products arrive? 

    Each community has its own receive dates, so it depends on when you order from us. We will provide a reference number to track your goods, and you will be notified when they will be delivered to your local dock.

    Where do I pickup my order?

    An Agent from the Shipping company will call you for pick up once it arrives in the community.


    (Satisfaction/Guarantee) What happens if I am not satisfied with my order? (Or What happens if the order contents have spoiled?)

    A lot of the products on sealift have a long shelf life, but sometimes products are damaged during transport. If this is the case, please contact us as soon as possible so we can work with our carrier to rectify the situation.

    Why are different products offered for Sealift?

    Nunavut communities are remote and don’t have road access, so flying products in can be very expensive. An alternative is Sealift, where people purchase many of the goods they need for the year.

    What if an item in my order is out of stock?

    If the item requested is not available, you will be contacted with a substitution or cancel the product and get refunded.

    Can I suggest a product for Arctic Fresh to carry?

    Yes, we are here to help our customers have access to products they currently don’t have. Please keep in mind that sealift is a small window to buy the product, pack and ship, so we require 2-4 weeks notice to source.

    Can I purchase a gift card?

    Yes, Gift Cards are available for purchase through our site.

    Can I reorder the same items as last time?

    Once you have an account with us, you can create a shopping list which saves a group of items you usually purchase.

    Can I save items as favourites for future orders?

    Yes. You can do this through a shopping list (coming soon).

    How can I pay for my order?

    You can pay by credit card or through EMT(electronic transfer)

    Where can I see the status of my order?

    Once you make an order, we will send you a tracking number to follow the status of your order until it reaches your community.

    Can I cancel or modify my order?

    Yes, you have 24 hours from the time the order is placed to modify or cancel it. But after 24 hours, no changes will be accepted.

    When will my order be processed?

    Your order is processed 24 hours after is placed.

    Is there a cutoff time for my order?

    Yes, this will allow us to have more time to receive your order process.
